Patsy (Fiona) is thriving with her two dog brothers, two cat brothers, and one cat sister! She's healthy and fit, and she won a $50 gift certificate for me to a nice restaurant in Raleigh because she's such a great kisser! We walk a lot and go to lots of dog events. Twice recently, people at Shelley Lake were so charmed by her that they actually went to the Wake County Animal Shelter and adopted chihuahua-esque dogs who looked like her! |

This donation is in memory of Star, the beautiful mixed-breed girl in Malta who was shot, tied up, buried alive with only her nose above ground, and then blessedly rescued. She died yesterday from complications of her abuse. I am so grateful that she had a loving environment during her last days. Animals rescuers are just the best people on the planet! |
