Wilbur
Wilbur [Adoption Application]
Show Information Snapshot
Number: d19027LM
Breed: French Bulldog/Boston Terrier Mix
Sex: Male
Weight: 25-35 lbs adult
Born: April 2019 (0 yrs 4 mos)
Color: White with Tan
  • Shots up to date
  • Neutered
  • Microchipped
Wilbur is such a sweet boy, he is always up for a good adventure and he will keep you laughing with his playful antics. He has had a rough start in life, he came into CARE from a hoarding situation where neglect was far too common. However, to see him smile today; you'd never know how dire his circumstances were. This fellow is the life of the party, so he needs an active home that would like him to be included in all of their fun. Due to his affinity for exercise, and in order to keep up his good potty habits, his forever home should have a fenced in yard. He'd love to have another doggy role model in his home, and he is appropriate with kitties too. His mother was a French bulldog and Boston terrier mix, and his father was a Staffordshire bull terrier mix; so it's quite clear where he earned his comical nature.

Since he is such a young pup, Wilbur requires humans who are not gone long hours. He also needs all humans in his home to be 7 years of age, or older. He is up to date on vaccines and preventative medications and he has been neutered and micro-chipped.

Adoption Pending.
Ono
Ono [Adoption Application]
Show Information Snapshot
Number: D19015HS
Breed: Dachshund/Terrier Mix
Sex: Female
Weight: 15 lbs
Born: February 2019 (0 yrs 6 mos)
Color: White with Tan
  • Shots up to date
  • Spayed
  • Special needs
  • Microchipped
Ono is an incredibly cute, bouncy puppy with an oversized personality in a tiny body. Ono was born
without a tail, the first sign of a birth defect that caused her colon to be detached from her rectum. She
has fully-healed from the surgery to repair the defect but will likely continue to need medication and
dietary management to ensure that she is able to have bowel movements.

Ono is a special-needs puppy. While house training is currently the main goal, because of
the birth defect, her young age and the surgery and healing process, it is hard to know at this time if Ono
will learn to control the structures that were attached during her surgery. Ono will do best in a home
where her people have the time and experience to continue with her house training. In the meantime,
she runs and plays with the other dogs and cats in her foster home, enjoys chew toys, rides in the car,
and cuddling on a warm lap.

Sex: Female
Weight: 13 lbs
Born: June 2017 (2 yrs 2 mos)
Color: yellow

  • Microchipped

Luna came into foster care very pregnant. She has successfully weaned her pups and is now ready to find her forever people. Though she was a wonderful mom, she is excited to start the next chapter of her life- without the worries of caring for babies. We don't have a lot of info about her background, but it is obvious that at some point in her life she has had less than optimal handling experiences with humans. For this reason, she is a bit slow to warm up to new humans and would prefer a life with no small children in the home, and appropriate introductions to visitors and strangers. Once you are in her inner circle, you will be showered with love and affection. She would do best in the home with another dog of her size or larger. She would love a dog to play with, and help her to bridge the gap of hesitance with new people- for this reason- her canine buddy must LOVE humans. She is appropriate with kitties too, but would do best with dog savvy cats.

Luna loves to go for strolls around the neighborhood, she rides very well in the car, and couch and bedtime cuddles are her favorite pastime. She is known to be a bit of a snorer, and occasionally even snorts. Despite these auditory antics, you couldn't find a better bed fellow; this gal is serious about her quality time with humans. You can bet that your mornings will be filled with kisses and playful cuddles, as she rolls around and snorts you into your new day.

Luna's forever home must have a fenced in yard, she loves to sunbathe, and explore; so she needs a safe place to do so. All humans in her forever home must be 12 years of age, or older. She has been spayed and micro-chipped, she is up to date on vaccines and preventative medications. If your home sounds like a match for sweet Luna, please click on her name to apply today.

Bailey is an affectionate girl - she's a snuggle bunny! - with familiar human friends. Bailey has some anxiety around new people and new things, but she soon works through her initial anxiety. She is a real trooper! Bailey requires a bit of patience, but that will be very well rewarded with a loving and loyal companion.

Bailey is spayed, current on vaccines and house trained. A home with a fenced yard is a must. She'd love to be an only dog.

Born: August 2017 (2 yrs 0 mos)
Color: Black with White

Eno is a sweet and loving boy looking for his new home. He is curious and playful and loves his walks, but settles down quickly and will impress you with his cuddling skills. He is food motivated, and a quick learner. He gets along well with his small foster siblings and would prefer smaller companion animals in his forever home. He can be nervous at times with new people and will do best with a patient and experienced owner willing to work with him to build his confidence. He would do best with an adult-only family, or one who has much older and mature teens in the home.

Eno is doing well learning basic skills and is crate trained. He entered the CARE system heartworm positive but has been treated and given a clean bill of health. He would prefer a safe, fenced in secure yard in his forever home; since he loves to burn off some energy by exploring, and he does best with his house-training with the freedom of off-leash capabilities. He would love a family that is willing to continue his training and socialization.

He is neutered, microchipped and current on vaccines.

This beautiful Husky had a rocky start in life that left her nearly feral. After months on the run she was finally caught by concerned people in the neighborhood. With professional training Girl has come a long way. She takes a minute to warm up to new people, but once she does her silly side comes out and she is soon puppy bowing and wanting to play. Girl gets along with other dogs, but since she is a Husky, caution should be applied when around small dogs, cats, and other small animals.

Girl requires a responsible home where doors will not be accidentally left open and with a yard with a fence she can't jump.

This animal is not in the CARE foster system. It is listed as a courtesy and CARE is not responsible for any problems with the animal or with the adoption process.
