My wife and I fell in love with Lapis the moment we saw her. She was tiny when we met her but had a huge personality. She loves exploring, playing with her kitty brother and sister, chasing after wand toys and the laser pointer. She also loves to look out the window and hear the birds chirping. She has been a joy to welcome into our family. She is spunky, curious, and full of energy. She’s grown a lot in the last few months! She has a wonderful floofy tail and is a beautiful cat. She’s made our lives so much better. Thank you for helping us find her, CARE (and especially her foster mom, Patti!)
Happy Endings
Calhooooun!
Adopting Calhoun was such a serendipitous event. I was walking around Lowe’s and saw him and his litter mates being pushed around in a shopping cart and I just fell in love. My husband was hesitant until he met the little sweetheart and then it was all over for both of us. He blended into the family instantaneously and even our cranky judgmental dog now loves him and lets him lay all over her (which is one of his favorite things to do, haha)
Thank you CARE for helping this puppy find our forever home ❤️
Beautiful Olivia
After losing my furry purr-son late last year, I found myself looking at the pets on CARE. Even though I saw many beautiful pictures, I kept going back to Olivia. Patti had described her perfectly. Olivia is not only beautiful, but she’s very sweet and loving.
Olivia has been home a little over a week and even though she is still getting used to everything, she has brought that beauty and kindness that I saw on CARE into our home.
I thank Patti and CARE for saving Olivia and her babies and for allowing me to experience Olivia’s love.
Luna
I just adopted Luna (I call her Luna-boo) in January and she is fitting in well. She gets along great with my other dog, Gideon, although she is definitely the boss! She is super affectionate and I couldn’t ask for a better fur baby. As I told her foster mom, Laura, she is thoroughly loved and I can’t imagine her not being a part of my family.
Hollis (now named Lily) has a new forever home
Lily is doing well. She adapted quickly to life in our home. She is high energy and likes to take long walks on the trails in our neighborhood. We’re working on socializing her to all the new the sights and sounds. It’s a work in progress, but she has made great strides in a short period of time: she almost tolerates the geese at our pond! We brought her to our veterinarian today for an initial checkup. She was given a clean bill of health.
Beans makes life better!
We adopted Beans mid-November of 2019 and we are so grateful. She is a wonderful dog. She is smart and eager to learn. She likes every person and every dog she meets and always seems to be in a good mood. Having her in the house helps keep all the rest of us happy too.
Dulcie
My husband, Thom, and I adopted Dulcie about 7 weeks ago. She is a great addition to our furry family! Dottie and Scooter (both adopted from CARE) welcomed Dulcie into the pack right away which helped her to settle into our family routine quickly. She is such a smart girl! Dulcie loves to cuddle with Thom and me but can be found snuggling with her new canine siblings often. We love us some Dulcie!!
CARE made the adoption process easy (as always) and were very helpful in making sure Dulcie was a good fit for our family.
Minnie
We adopted Minnie into our family and she has been a perfect match. Couldn’t imagine life without her!
