Chatham Animal Rescue & Education (CARE) is a volunteer-based nonprofit organization promoting the health and safety of all dogs and cats in Chatham County, NC since 1975.

 

Our Core Services:

  • Providing foster homes for homeless cats and dogs
  • Working with Chatham County Animal Resources Center to save unwanted pets
  • Managing feral cat colonies
  • Offering spay/neuter services to low-income families through Lillie’s Fund
